About R-22

R-22 (Freon) is the older HCFC refrigerant found in systems built before 2010. New R-22 production ended in 2020.

The chart shows saturation temperature in °F at gauge pressure (PSIG), sea level, every 10 PSI from 0 to 600 PSIG. Readings between rows are linearly interpolated, the same way FieldLoom does it on the job.

Use it with the superheat and subcooling calculators, or see all refrigerants.

Questions

What pressure is 40°F for R-22?

About 69 PSIG.

What pressure is 100°F for R-22?

About 196 PSIG.

Are these pressures gauge or absolute?

Gauge pressure (PSIG) at sea level, the same as your manifold reads.
