About R-454B

R-454B (Puron Advance, Opteon XL41) is the A2L replacement for R-410A in new US equipment from 2025. It runs at slightly lower pressures than R-410A.

The chart shows saturation temperature in °F at gauge pressure (PSIG), sea level, every 10 PSI from 0 to 600 PSIG. Readings between rows are linearly interpolated, the same way FieldLoom does it on the job.

R-454B is a blend with a small temperature glide (about 2°F). For exact work, use dew point for superheat and bubble point for subcooling from the manufacturer's chart.

Use it with the superheat and subcooling calculators, or see all refrigerants.

Questions

What pressure is 40°F for R-454B?

About 112 PSIG.

What pressure is 100°F for R-454B?

About 301 PSIG.

Are these pressures gauge or absolute?

Gauge pressure (PSIG) at sea level, the same as your manifold reads.
